       • Accreditation and Recognition
The Pantheon Institute is recognized by the Ministry of Education in Italy and accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) through its partnership with Connecticut College in New London, Connecticut.
The Pantheon Institute is an approved program for the University of Mississippi, St. Bonaventure University, Center for International Studies, Academic Studies Abroad, AbroadCO among others.

The Pantheon Institute boasts a highly-qualified faculty of exceptional scholars who are passionately dedicated to teaching, providing courses of substantive content and quality. • Admission Standards
Admission into the Pantheon Institute program is selective. We require:
    - Students who are matriculated at an accredited college or university
    - Sophomore or higher status 
    - Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher
    - A letter of recommendation from a previous professor
    - A personal essay

Our honors courses accept only students with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher and a special letter of recommendation.

• Constituency
Students at the Pantheon Institute define themselves by outstanding academic performance and an exceptional desire to be challenged, explore new paths, and delve into their surroundings. They hail from schools all over the country and from a variety of different disciplines. What they have in common is a passion to immerse themselves in Italian culture and delve passionately into the beauty and history of Rome.

• Size and Location 
Each semester, the Pantheon Institute hosts between 25 and 75 students. We consider our size one of our best assets; because the Institute is small, students receive an unparalleled level of personal attention, but there are still plenty of activities and opportunities for cultural immersion and learning.

The Institute's location in Rome is one of its biggest boons: a stone's throw from the Institute's Center, students study in the historic heart of the city. • Student Services and Health and Safety
The Institute maintains an average 1:12 staff to student ratio and offers incomparable attention to students' needs. With our 24-hour emergency hotline, there is always someone available if a situation arises. At the Pantheon Institute, we are resolutely committed to the welfare of our students, and we've developed comprehensive health, safety, and emergency policies and procedures to ensure our students' well-being at all times.

• Immersion Opportunities
The Pantheon Institute hosts a variety of events to give students the opportunity to mingle with one another and sample the diverse delights of Italian life and culture. Activities include gelato nights, cooking classes, pizza nights, wine tastings, soccer matches, nights at the opera. As frequently as possible, the Center staff works alongside other universities and venues in greater Rome to offer additional cultural opportunities for its students.

• Experience
The Pantheon Institute was started by the founders of the La Magia Institute, Accademia Adrianea (both in Rome), and the Umbra Institute in Perugia, all with years of experience in providing safe and rewarding study abroad programs in Italy.

• Affordability
