In addition to the experiential opportunities implicit in the academic program, there are a number of extra-curricular activities designed to give you additional exposure to Italian life and culture. School trips and other school-sponsored events allow you to interact with your environment in other ways, promising to further enrich your time abroad.

• Activities and Events

The Pantheon Institute offers a plethora of events throughout the semester designed to enhance student social life. These activities include movie nights, cooking classes, gelato nights, theatre nights, soccer matches and wine tastings. As frequently as possible, the Pantheon Institute staff works alongside other universities and venues in greater Rome to offer additional cultural opportunities for our students.

• Optional Academic Trips

Each session, the Institute offers one optional weekend trip for interested students. This trip typically includes out-of-town destinations such as Capri, Ischia, Umbria and Tuscany. This provides a great opportunity to visit other destinations in Italy, as well as indulging in a little well-deserved rest and recreation. There are also optional day trips that students can sign up for. These trips take students outside of Rome to the Lazio region. Both the day and weekend trips are offered at the most affordable prices possible.
