Course Description

L I N K S is a laboratory for in-depth theoretical investigation – an experimental terrain for intellectual exploration of art and architecture.  This course proposes study and analysis of the interconnections between various facets of contemporary Italian artistic production and expression.  The central focus is a theoretical analysis whereby the most significant accomplishments in contemporary Italian painting, sculpture and cinema are researched and analyzed and investigations are made as to how these modes of artistic expression are interconnected with architecture from a formal, functional and symbolic perspective.
