Join other high school students for an intensive, three-week study abroad program in historic Rome, Italy. The Pantheon Institute, working with the Young Eisner Scholars (YES), created a unique college preparatory program to provide students with the experience of college-level coursework while living and studying in one of Europe’s most culturally and historically significant capitals. Coursework and field study introduce students to Italian language, culture, history, architecture, cinema and cuisine, as they experience Italian life in Rome’s historic center. In addition to class study, students learn on-site at museums, monuments and archaeological sites in and around Rome. Students learn valuable skills including city navigation, cross-cultural communication and the basics of cooking simple, delicious Italian cuisine.
