At the beginning of each semester the Pantheon Institute hosts a mandatory orientation to introduce students to the program staff and provide important information. Students receive information on academics and program expectations, and an important briefing on health and safety. Students will be given a city map and information on how to get around Rome, as well as how to access the wealth of cultural activities and events happening in the area.
The Pantheon Institute believes it is important for every student to have a cell phone while they are in Italy, even though our student apartments do have regular fixed-line phones. To help facilitate this, the Institute has arranged an agreement with Student Cells Inc. based in California that specializes in renting cell phones to American students studying abroad in Italy.
