| Summer Session II has just begun |

| The students participating in the Summer semester/Session II at the Pantheon Institute have arrived and classes are underway. |
This group of fifteen students comes to us from the Department of Integrative Arts at Penn State. Their studies will immerse them in the culture of Rome and of Italy while taking the course “Explorations in Italian Architecture and Urban Forms”, and the Digital Photography course, both of which will have the students crisscrossing the eternal city on a daily basis.
A week-long trip is part of this session and will take the students down south to the Greek Temples of Paestum and the excavated city of Pompeii, and then in the northern part of Italy, the students will enjoy visiting Florence and Venice.
But life here is not only about studying and working – that would not give the students an authentic Roman experience. The students will have every opportunity to partake in the cultural events that Roman summer has to offer. The program of “Estate Romana” is filled with music, dance, and theater performances – most of them performed under the balmy skies, in lovely gardens…
