The Pantheon Institute and its former incarnation as the Penn State University “Sede di Roma” has been in existence for over twenty-five years. Our teaching professionals meet the strictest standards of academic and professional excellence. Begun as an Architecture and Landscape Architecture program, the Pantheon Institute fulfills the NAAB accreditation requirements of a fourth year curriculum in a five-year professional program in Architecture. The newly-expanded Liberal Arts offerings now include academic course work in Italian Language and Cultural Studies, History, History of Art, Archeology, Fine Arts, Photography and Business.

 

Our architecture and landscape architecture students enter and win important design competitions while in Rome, and work on some of the most important building sites in the history of western architecture. Our professors in architecture are extremely qualified award-winning professionals with impressive portfolios and the international work experience to give students an invaluable career development asset.

 

The Institute also takes advantage of partnering opportunities with major European institutions like the University of Rome, The Politecnico of Milano, The Accademia Adrianea and others, to offer students special design workshops and study experiences in places like Capri, Sicily, Valencia, Athens, Alexandria, Egypt, and Istanbul.

 

Our courses are easily transferred back to your home institution and are fully accepted by every major institution that accepts transfer credits from a large U.S. state-related institution.
